The Georgia Association of Independent Colleges of Teacher Education (GAICTE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing tomorrows teachers. GAICTE is committed to:
- preparing exemplary teachers for tomorrow
- promoting excellence in teacher preparation throughout Georgia
- open communication and collaboration with public colleges and universities of teacher education
- uniting independent colleges and universities as one voice to influence the direction of teacher education in Georgia and the nation
- assisting all teacher educators in development and implementation of best practices
